Project Implementation Committee

The PIC will be chaired by the Executive Chairman of BEZA. It will consist of the following members:

  1. Executive Chairman, BEZA
  2. Executive Member (Planning & Development), BEZA
  3. Representative of Planning Commission (respective sector)
  4. Representative of IMED
  5. Director-1, PMO
  6. Representative of Finance Division
  7. Representative of Programming Division
  8. Representative of NEC-ECNEC of Planning Division
  9. Representative of ERD
  10. Representative of GED
  11. General Manager (Planning & Development), BEZA
  12. Manager (MIS & Research), BEZA
  13. Manager (Planning & Development), BEZA
  14. Project Director of the project (will act as Member-Secretary of the committee)

The main responsibilities of the PIC will be as follows:

  • to review annual work plans and budgets (whether the project implementation is on track)
  • to review the implementation status of the project in accordance with the DPP
  • to liaise with the Project Director and monitor flow of fund and physical progress
  • provide guideline for timely implementation of the project
  • to ensure coordination and information sharing among all relevant ministries and agencies
  • to manage the risks of the project
  • the committee may co-opt member, if necessary.
