Project Implementation Committee
The PIC will be chaired by the Executive Chairman of BEZA. It will consist of the following members:
- Executive Chairman, BEZA
- Executive Member (Planning & Development), BEZA
- Representative of Planning Commission (respective sector)
- Representative of IMED
- Director-1, PMO
- Representative of Finance Division
- Representative of Programming Division
- Representative of NEC-ECNEC of Planning Division
- Representative of ERD
- Representative of GED
- General Manager (Planning & Development), BEZA
- Manager (MIS & Research), BEZA
- Manager (Planning & Development), BEZA
- Project Director of the project (will act as Member-Secretary of the committee)
The main responsibilities of the PIC will be as follows:
- to review annual work plans and budgets (whether the project implementation is on track)
- to review the implementation status of the project in accordance with the DPP
- to liaise with the Project Director and monitor flow of fund and physical progress
- provide guideline for timely implementation of the project
- to ensure coordination and information sharing among all relevant ministries and agencies
- to manage the risks of the project
- the committee may co-opt member, if necessary.
